OTHER FEATURES & USES
AimPoint: graphics showing the point at which the player should aim and the path the ball should follow on the green for a successful putt. During the putt the viewer can see how closely the ball follows the ideal path. AimPoint was launched by The Golf Channel during the PGA's 2007 Mercedes-Benz Championship and is now becoming a regular feature during many golf broadcasts. Vistas' VDI system creates and inserts the graphics using data from TPS Golf's proprietary technology.
Current Partners:
Why invest in VDI® insertions?
- Create new streams of Sponsor/Advertiser revenue
- Enhance value of current Sponsor/Advertiser packages
- Provide access to valuable advertising real estate currently limited by league, association, and venue restrictions
What are the benefits of VDI insertions to sponsors?
- High recognition levels of over 44% for VDI messages*
- "Zap Proof" – VDIs are embedded in the content of a broadcast
- Ensures advertiser messages reach the viewers
- Economical and simple to produce
How much does it cost to incorporate VDI insertions into a broadcast?
- Initial productions fall under Vistas' "Pilot Program" format. The main considerations are shipping and travel cost from Dallas. These estimates can be based on 1300 lbs of equipment and a two-person production team.
